"The host were amazing… Kept in communication the entire time, anything I needed that was not already here was brought to us immediately. I cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond for our family! The cabin itself is wonderful, and stocked up pretty good with indoor/outdoor games, books, kitchen utensils, etc. The canoe was super fun, although we definitely did not swim in the lake here… There was a lake recommended to us about three minutes away with a park/beach and great swimming area! There is no TV, although there is Wi-Fi, and we found that to be a wonderful thing! I had 2 15-year-olds with me who only went on their phones at bedtime, there was so much to do here and in the area! 100% recommend! If we come back to the area, we will definitely be staying again! "

"This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It has everything you could possibly need— for meal preparation, outdoor enjoyment and staying occupied indoors. The Pickleball court is fantastic! We rent a boat from the local marina and use the dock on the property. Elizabeth is an excellent communicator and rep replies quickly to messages. We will be back again next year!"

"Beautiful property. Can't think of a thing the house didn't have readily available. Kids enjoyed fishing every day, and then spent all their cash at the bait shop and candy store in Hayward. The Fishing Hall of Fame and mini golf were great diversions when it was a little too windy for fishing or paddling. Excellent communication with the host throughout. Highly recommend this property for a wonderful lakeside retreat."

"We had the best time!! Very very clean and has everything you’d ever need!! I’ve seen comments regarding the stairs, however my husband has bad knees and did not have any issues with them at all. Host and hostess were so nice and accommodating and available. Highly recommend. If i could give it 10 stars I would. Thank you for everything!"

"Good communication and information provided by host prior to check-in. It is a very well cared for property in a beautiful, tranquil location. A doe and her two fawns visited every day. We made use of the games, kayaks, and fire pit. The only down side was we were traveling with a toddler under age 2 and the yard did not have a good play space. They needed to be contained to the deck areas. Something to consider if traveling with littles. There is an incline from the road to the cabin, and the cabin to the lake. Overall, this is a wonderful property and is perfect if you are looking for peace, serenity, and natural beauty. "

"Cozy cabin on a beautiful, peaceful, well maintained property. Easy check-in & out. Great fishing dock, clean lake for kayaking and swimming! Lots to do in the Cable/Hayward area. A great place to recharge with family. "

"This property was all it was represented to be and more. Secluded, quiet and very clean. The master bedroom bed and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well stocked. If fate finds me in the area again I would gladly stay here another time."
