« I have known this hotel in my whole life. It surprised me when it went under renovations for an extended period of time, and I would’ve expected a lot more thought and quality for the decor and appointments. This is a historic hotel and landmark of Urbana, and the cheap furniture, carpet, and wallpaper take away from its core beauty and actually look out of place. « I would love to have given 5 stars, my only complaint was the hot tub and pool. They were filthy - couldn't see in the hot tub the water was so dirty. The pool was WAY too chlorinated, you could see the chlorine on tip of the water and the bottom of pool had dirt or sand. The staff were exceptional snd friendly. We will definitely stay again. Nice room, amenities and convenient location. »

« Our room was in need of an update. The tub had black stains in it, paint was patched. When we came into the room, the dishwasher was running and the bathroom floor was wet, as if the room had just been cleaned, even thoigh we were there an hour after check-in. »

« Stayed from 1:30 am to 7:30 am. Had to stop to sleep on a long drive. Everything was clean and nothing to complain about. Would stay again on other trip intake this way. »
