"Hotel Planter is a historic hotel located right on the town’s Main Street, within walking distance of shopping, dining, and museums. With only twelve rooms, it is a quiet retreat. My room was spotless, as was the lobby area, where they also offer coffee, tea, and an assortment of board games to borrow. I have stayed here numerous times, because the convenience, quiet, and friendly staff. "

"Getaway to PNW and as launch point for ferries to the island, Mt Baker and other lovely destinations. Situated directly on channel, every room has a water view. Quiet. Peaceful. Staff is lovely and friendly. Breakfast (included) was yummy and full of the staples: egg, sausage, fruit, baked goods. Coffee mugs could be bigger for yummy coffee."

"An older quaint and elegant small hotel with lovely clean rooms. Spa experience was fantastic and the staff was very welcoming and professional! The hotel is walking distance to town and dining. Breakfast was standard but good with exceptional service. Part of the charm is the fact the rooms are old… but they are very clean and comfortable. The parking is tight, especially with larger vehicles. We will plan to go there again!"
