Koya Hotel Guide

It's recommended you book early as there is not a wide range of Expedia-registered hotels within easy driving distance of downtown Koya.

There are not many hotels within easy walking distance from the center of Koya. The Koyasan Syukubo Ekoin is a good option as it is only 3 kilometres (2 miles) away.

30 kilometres (18 miles) away from the middle of Koya, is the Sakoya -Yoshino-. Alternatively, the Amami Onsen Nanten-en is located 20 kilometres (13 miles) away. Another possibility is to investigate the APA Hotel Kanku-Kishiwada or the Minamitei.

After you've seen Koya, why not take the time to investigate more of the Kinki area. Kinki is marked by beaches, lakes, mountains and cliffs, and common Kinki destinations include ruins. Travelers in this section of Japan can enjoy mountain biking, hiking and cycling.

Osaka is 55 kilometres (34 miles) to the north of Koya and is where you'll find Osaka Science Museum and Osaka Castle. Should you wish to visit Osaka, check Expedia's booking pages for the latest deals at the The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka and InterContinental Osaka. 75 kilometres (45 miles) to the northwest of Koya, you may also choose to stay at Arima Hot Springs, home to the Arimasansoh Gosho Bessho and Tocen Goshoboh. If you like sports and enjoy watching games you might like to visit Osaka Dome, which is 50 kilometres (32 miles) to the north of Koya. For tourists who are interested in booking a room close by, make a reservation in the The St Regis Osaka or Hilton Osaka.

For those who choose to fly, Kansai International Airport is the preferred airport for Koya. A nearby hotel is Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport.
