"It was a big room and relatively nice, but the furnishings were old, and there was heavy dust on one of the cabinet shelves. I would stay here again because the room rates were good and it was a nice area with all the shopping areas and restaurants. The subway station is an easy 2 - 3 minute walk. "

"Hotel is close to the train station but a long way from Kobe. There are lots of restaurants close by. The sake tasting every night is nice and they serve great coffee all day. Average hotel, good for the price paid. "

"A local hotel, old but clean. Very close to station and only 3 stops to the downtown area. (Kobe and Sanomia) Of course, downtown is still the best choice but this one is good alternative if you can’t find a good price in the city."

"We stayed at Kobe Plaza Hotel West and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel has its excellent location right on Motomachi shopping street, just a short walk from Motomachi Station and close to restaurants, shops, Chinatown and other attractions — making it ideal for sightseeing and exploring Kobe on foot.The beds are not small at all. "Really loved the location, in Chinatown, but still felt quiet. Close to stations, but we walked around a lot and found the location centralize to Kobe's sites. Free noodles at end of night was a really nice touch. "

"Very spacious, comfortable room with balcony and superb view of Kobe Harbor. Reasonable cost, only 2/3 the amount charged by a similar luxury hotel in Nagoya that provided a smaller room. The vast lobby, with waterfall and decorative pool, add even more to the feeling of elegance. Highly recommended."

"The AC was only set to heater or fan, and I couldn't seem to change it to cool, but fortunately it was a cold night so it was fairly comfortable. It was a very nice hotel, and not too far from Sannomiya station, which has loads of restaurants and shops! There was also a nearby convenience store for late night snacks. The property was very clean and quiet, and I had a lovely two nights there. I would definitely go back again if I am in the area!"
