"Property was as described and great for my ~ 35 day stay. Very clean and communication from the hostess was terrific. Always let me know when someone would be by to mow the lawn or take out the garbage. Would definitely stay there again if my work takes me there in the future. "

"My husband and I have been selecting quiet mountain region destinations the last few years preparing for retirement. Going up and down the Shenandoah to the Smokies. This home was perfect for us. Just enough, close to downtown and relaxing. The history of the home was wonderful and Lottie was a pleasure to communicate with. We certainly enjoyed our little get away. "This is a super clean and recently remodeled property. The property owner was very easy to communicate with. The house is stocked with a variety of items (plenty of paper products, coffee pods...) to make your stay easier. The house is located right alongside the scenic South Holston river. The road access is very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Great home in interesting neighborhood. Huge local park and friendly neighbors on lots of front porches. Stayed over 1 night on our way to DC. I haven't communicated with the owner on any of this, as nothing was critical enough to warrant calling them at the time. So I'm sure it's already been corrected. There were 8 of us and we had to get creative with the beds. An air mattress would have been helpful for large groups. The refrigerator did not work but the freezer did which was good for...

"Friendly goats to feed, happily behind the fence. Close to the track , secluded feel. I wish we had more time we would have used the fire pit in the backyard . Easy to enter easy to communicate with the host. One of my favorite things was the guest book. Would definitely recommend and return. "
