Best place we stayed at during our entire Ireland trip! It is such a quaint place with great food at the restaurant. We ate there for both dinner and breakfast. Wish we could’ve stayed at this place longer! A real gem!

What a unique and lovely place. The room was beautiful, and equipped with several extras including a fan (useful in this warm summer), heated towel rack, and luxurious linens on the bed. I’m only sad we were only there for one night.

The castle is beautiful although due to a private function inside main castle didn’t feel we could go in lobby area. We were in Carriage house which was a wing of the castle as is attached although you have to go outside to gain entrance to castle. Our room was clean, huge & beautifully decorated. Grounds amazing and food at golf clubhouse was delicious. Check in was easy - young lady not all that friendly at desk but all other staff were beyond friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel. Central, close to restaurants and a grocery store. Room was very large - perfect for the family. A little warm without air conditioning.

Kilkea Castle was a wonderful stay. Last minute we booked a room in the Lodges; unfortunately, the actual Castle was all booked up. This didn’t lessen the experience though. The lodge room was clean, comfortable, well-appointed and had a fairway view. We were also able to use the facilities in the castle itself. We weren’t there to golf and that was just as well as the course was closed for maintenance. As a golfer the course did look like a premium course, and I’d love to go back for...
