Why come to Maui and not be able to see the ocean? Enjoy dining from my lanai looking right at the ocean! My one bedroom condo in the Ginger complex (G-104) is your paradise! Over 20' wide living room, 1039 sq. ft. 2 baths, large master bedroom with a king bedroom set. The spacious living/dining/kitchen area includes an adjustable large flat screen TV (you could even watch it from the lanai or kitchen or bed), ceiling fans, and desk (free internet). The queen daybed is perfect for reading, an afternoon nap, or your company to enjoy (no uncomfortable hid-a-bed in my condo). The master bedroom is also quite spacious with another flat screen TV and DVD player, and a courtyard for hanging wet clothes, storing toys, boogie boards, etc. During the winter months, watch the sun set and the whales jump while you dine from our tiled lanai. If the sun is too bright, close the electric awning. The chaise lounge chair helps you tan or read in privacy. Maui Kamaole is between Wailea and Kihei; beaches and snorkeling are a short stroll down the hill and across the park. The complex includes 2 swimming pools (one with a waterfall), hot tubs, and tennis courts. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need, and the stackable washer and dryer work great. Ceiling fans and air conditioning will help everyone feel comfortable throughout my condo. View was amazing and the unit was clean and family friendly. Even with the road nearby it was quiet and enjoyable. Great mornings watching the moon set and evening eating dinner and watching the sunset. The host was quick to respond and resolve an issue with infant accommodations. We travelled here with our 16 month old, so we wanted a place that would be enjoyable during nap and bedtime, and this was it! Ground level access was great for our son to run around on the lawn, and it was amazing being able to watch whales splashing around and the beautiful sunsets from our lanai. We were able to walk to all the beaches close by, as well as to our favourite sandwich shop, 808 Deli. Alice has plenty of beach gear including chairs, umbrella, cooler, kids toys, fins, snorkels, beach towels and more! The kitchen is also well stocked. The view was spectacular. We spent a lot of time on the lanai enjoying that view. Communication with the owner was enjoyable. We don't have any issues to report; it was a great vacation and we hope we can stay again in this same unit someday. ##### Jean T. Séjour de 7 nuits en janvier 2024 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### H H. 31 janv. 2024 Points forts : Propreté #### Perfect South Maui rental If you need a place for 1 to 4 people in South Maui, then skip this review and just book Alice's condo. It has everything you need. PROS 1- Great location. 5 min to golf, shopping and nightlife. 2 min walk to the oceanside park, and 5 min walk to the beach 2- Parking right by front door 3- Fabulous views from the lanai. Alice's pics don't do it justice 4- Condo loaded with almost every amenity you could think of: beach chairs, coolers, koozies, and a turbo powered box fan 5- Bookshelf loaded with 3 or 4 rows of books, and a drawer with puzzles and board games 6- Extra large map of Maui came in handy 7- Secluded front porch for drying swimsuits and rinsing off sand from places it shouldn't be 8- Washer and dryer were really handy. 9- Adequate AC (rarely needed) CONS 1- We did have a noisy family stay in above us for a few days. We could occasionally hear them stomping, but it never impacted our sleep 2- The condo assoc has a lot of rules. Some make sense, while others seem odd, like no pickle ball on the tennis courts. 3- On two nights, we had someone park in our spot. Security wrote them a warning on the second night and that ended the issue I leave cons in every review. As you can see, these are really minor. We are definitely going to book Alice's condo if we stay in Maui again. Suggestions: 1- A few more modern games would be nice, like "Just One" 2- A pad of paper and a pen to take notes and make a grocery list. Easily acquired at the store though. ##### H H. This condo was great. Amazing view. Close to beaches, places to eat and shop. Pools were beautiful. Condo very well stocked and beds comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. ##### Robin B. Beautiful view of the ocean from the lanai. Spacious unit and well equipped (beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, etc.). Did not get to use the bikes (I usually take a 6 mile walk daily), but the opportunity to use a bicycle was really nice. We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. Also, Alice (the owner) was quick to respond to any issue we had during our stay. Great experience!! ##### Jean R.
