Sugar Beach Resort is a tranquil beachfront condominium resort located in North Kihei. It is centrally located on the island and close to amenities such as groceries, shopping, restaurants, gas stations, etc. There are two six-story buildings at the Resort with elevators. Sugar Beach which fronts the property offers exceptional sunsets and is great for swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, windsurfing, long relaxing beach walks on the soft sandy beach, turtle gazing and spectacular seasonal whale watching. Sugar Beach Resort offers central air conditioning, a large heated pool with hot tub overlooking the ocean, children's wading pool, and sauna. There is a well-maintained gas barbeque area that overlooks the ocean, Dina's Sandwich and Bar, On-site Massage and FREE on-site parking. All amenities provided. Only downfall was AC broke the 2nd night, so we were without AC for 1 night and all day the next day, but resort fixed it the next evening. Would definitely stay again!!! This property was exactly as advertised; a nice, comfortable condo on a beautiful beach in a great location. The property is quiet, clean and serene. You can fall asleep listening to the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach, which was one of my favorite parts of the stay (other than the stunning ocean views). Also, the owner is very easy to communicate with, which made my wife and I all the more comfortable with our choice. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would come back again to relax and unwind! ##### Peter B. The property is 15 min drive to most restaurants and beaches which means it was very quiet at night and in the mornings but also meant getting groceries for the kitchen is the more convenient option. The balcony is nice, we saw turtles and a reef shark from above. Washer and dryer in unit are new and nice. The Kihei area felt more relaxing overall than Lahaina. The property itself is underwhelming but not necessary with so much to do outside of it. ##### Beth R. The pool and hot tub and location are great. The condo needs a deep cleaning. I would stay her again; however, I would ask about construction. During our stay there was construction going on in a unit above ours. Floor tile was being removed with a jackhammer throughout the day for most of our stay. I was not told this would be happening prior to booking. We would have booked another location in Sugar Beach Condos if we would have known prior. Construction is booked ahead of time and the property owner would have known but did not share this information prior to us booking. ##### Jeff B.
