"You cannot fault the location of the hotel, within easy walking distance of the centre of Keswick. The staff are wonderful. I asked for a cocktail the bar steward wasn't aware of. However, when I to the bar the following evening, he'd looked up what was in it and was able to make me one. The food is very good, with a good choice and the dining staff are very professional. However what does let the hotel down is the interior decoration. It is very tired and worn and defiantly needs an upgrade."

"The Fellpack House was hands-down one of the best B&B experiences that we’ve ever enjoyed anywhere in the world. The property was beautifully decorated and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our room was nicely appointed with a lovely bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The made-to-order breakfast was outstanding with many options and very generous portions. Unlimited French Press coffee was a nice touch, too. Wine, beer, and limited cocktail options were available for a small fee and could be enjoyed in one of several pleasant public areas inside or outside on the sunny terrace. Keswick was a wonderful Lake District village and The Fellpack House was the perfect place to stay when visiting the area."

"We’ve just spent two nights at the Royal Oak and had a lovely stay. The rooms are lovely, everything is clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is incredible, and the location is perfect for exploring Keswick and the lake."
