The bedroom wall underneath the window had chipping paint, mold and drywall rotting. Both my husband and I have asthma and this rotting, moldy wall caused our asthma to flare up! This really needed to be resolved and repaired prior to rental! There were 2 window screens in disrepair, which the winds blew out of the window, We called property manager for repair and they responded quickly, as this posed a security risk. Ceiling fans and room fans keep it cooler - we would prop the front door open while we were there to let that wonderful trade wind flow through. We also enjoyed both pools and the 1 minute walk to the beach where we saw Hawaiian sea monk seals on 2 different days! (Loved the beach chairs, umbrella and floated too!)
