« Staff were very friendly and rooms/bathrooms were clean. Beds were very comfortable. Location was convenient to the airport. Not a big deal, but trading out dirty towels for clean towels was a little inconvenient, especially if I didn’t remember to do it before leaving for the day and getting back late. »

« I love a classic 112 year old hotel. Shared bathrooms were clean and never a wait. Mattress was like a cloud! Everyone is helpful and friendly. Not your type of place if you're uptight and get upset about some wear and tear or hauling gear up stairs. Adventurous souls only! »

« It's Alaska, so it's different. We live in Fairbanks and were meeting family that flew in from the lower 48 and were boarding a cruise. It was a turn-and-burn, one-night stay. The hotel room was super clean, bed was super comfy, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was close (walkable) to an IGA grocery store, a liquor store, and an Alaska State museum. Totally recommend! »

« This was like having our own 1-bedroom apartment, right on the ocean and walking distance to down town. We loved the kitchen and having a washer/dryer. Wonderful place to stay! »

« Steve’s place is amazing. Super cute and in a great spot to watch the cruise ships. He’s very responsive and helpful. Made our stay memorable, and included little touches like fresh cut flowers in the kitchen and slippers for everyone to wear in the house. »
