"This is a historic hotel, a group of rooms located in a National Historic Register building. One of the best loved bars of Juneau is downstairs. The room was cozy and comfortable, and shared bath facilities were clean. I made Alaskan friends when I visited the bar. A great, authentic feeling Alaska experience. Don't expect a modern hotel experience - you'll find that in other parts of town."

The property is outdated and looks a little run down, shower curtain loose from the wall, ugly paint, loose electrical outlets...that sort of thing, but they make up for it with friendliness, helpfulness and it is clean. Ive been staying here for a number of years and that part has been consistent. ."

"I love coming here to relax and reset. The king Jacuzzi suites have extra large tubs that fit two large adults comfortably lying side by side. The tubs and rooms are always clean. The only downside is that the beds are pretty firm, but if you enjoy a firm bed, you will love it. The rooms and throughout the property, there are a lot of cosmetic maintenance issues that need to be taken care of. Sadly, finding good quality help in the maintenance field is a challenge here, so I understand that. if they could find someone or hire a contractor to do the work, this place could quickly turn back into a beautiful property. So, if you can overlook the cosmetic maintenance issues and you're looking for a space to reset and relax and enjoy the extra large Jacuzzi tubs, this is the place to do it. Bonus: They also have a decent workout room and full kitchens in the rooms, so you don't have to waste your money eating out if you don't want to."

"The best bed and breakfast experience we have had. The sweetest couple run it and both are so accommodating and hospitable. They think of things you don’t even think about that you may need. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was beyond amazing. Picture perfect and tasted as good as it looked. I highly recommend. "
