"This was the best place to stay, room was perfect, bed is comfortable, plenty of space in room and throughout the home. Very clean and has washer and dryer available for laundry. Definitely will be our go to next time we are back in town. Easy check in. Glacier is close by, downtown is easy to get to, bus stop close by. Recommend sandpiper for breakfast or Donna’s."

Grandma’s Feather Bed is a charming place to enjoy for your pre or post cruise stay or if you are enjoying a few days in this area of Alaska! Service was excellent and very attentive. The hotel manager, Galyna, assisted with any special request without any hesitance and was a pleasure to meet. The complimentary breakfast was lovely and the omelette was on my list of “Best Ever”!

The property has been renovated and the rooms are modern with wood accents and back lighting. The shower felt so good, especially after a full travel day. Absolutely loved the room. Very clean. The staff and manager were great. We had a sea view and enjoyed stepping out onto the balcony for the amazing view. Highly recommend.

It is located right in downtown and very convenient if you want to use local transport. We took the room with the kitchen which was really helpful as we could make our own coffee and breakfast. There is noise from downstairs bar on Saturdays but we were on the 3rd floor so could not hear much. The property itself is old but kept clean. Check in was smooth. Would highly recommend if you do not have a car otherwise you can find cheaper places to stay but they will be 35-40 mins from downtown. We...
