"I was under the impression that we would have an in suite bathroom, but that was not the case. A minor inconvenience. The room was comfortable, with a nice view of the river. Breakfast was simple, but if you want a hot breakfast, there is a cafe called The Roost right next door. It was a nice, relaxing weekend. If we go again, I will be sure the confirm that the room is self contained."

On the negative side, whomever ran the dishwasher last didn't finish the cycle, and water pooled inside leaving a nasty stench for us when we opened it. Also not a biggie, but black ants were quick to pop out the moment any food was left on the counter. For using the TV's, I recommend streaming from your phone or bringing your own streaming device...

"While this house is cozy and warm we did run into a few issues. First, this house is directly off of Hwy 6 which is a major 2 lane highway. After a couple of days the sounds of semi's became white noise but I would have preferred peace and quiet.
