"Grest motel! Excellent location. Beach block. Parking was very convenient and since it was a weekday, for a small fee, they had extra spots for our party. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I was able to check in a little early, and the next day I was able to leave my car in the lot a few hours past check out time. The room was clean and no noticeable sound from outside was heard. I slept great!"

"Hotel staff were so polite! Some of my friends had forgotten toothbrushes and they were able to provide some. Towels were plentiful and they had no problem with us asking for more. The location is really amazing, easy walk to the beach and the hallway to get there has a beautifully painted mural and chairs to sit and enjoy the ocean view from afar. It’s also just far enough from the boardwalk that the beach near it wasn’t too crowded ! For all that I think Henlopen is worth it and I would definitely come back!"

"We will definitely be back even with a slow elevator. They have a coffee pot in the room but they serve a continental breakfast but the trip up and down the elevator was time consuming. I would bring my own coffee pot. We had a problem with our fridge and freezer and they replaced it asap with a new one. The beds are so comfortable I slept the best I have ever slept since being home. Good value for the money. It definitely needs an update but it was great. If we make it back next year we will request the lower level. The pool is great too."

"Balcony overlooking the beach was wonderful. A/C unit a bit of a bummer as it is a wall unit and takes up space on the small balcony. Wish there was coffee and hot water all day in the lobby. No microwave as advertised, in room. Very small, inadequate refrigerator in 205. Basic breakfast sandwiches on morning buffet, 2 cereals, a few yogurts, apples & bananas. Nespresso machine in room - excellent. We enjoyed our stay."

"Beautiful place. Impeccably appointed! Great location 3 blocks from beach and directly on the bay.Just know this is a complex with 8 units, not a house.The host Lisa was very kind.Would have been wonderful to know ahead that we didn’t need pillows and blankets but that we needed hand towels. Also helpful would be to have more than two parking permits for a place that sleeps 8 and a few Adirondack chairs in the sand would be a great touch!Overall, we loved our stay!!"
