"I absolutely loved my stay here! Being just up the street from the beach, this hotel couldn’t have been more conveniently located. We stayed for 2 nights on the second floor and I had zero issues related to uncleanliness or noise even when our room was right next to the elevator and stairs. The parking garage is an amazing perk, saving the hassle of hauling travel items all the way outside. The front desk lady was extremely kind and welcoming, and the housekeeping made sure to tidy up our rooms in the morning without moving a single personal belonging. Will definitely be keeping this place in mind when staying in the future!"

"Great little place not too far of a drive to the beach. It's not a wow hotel, but the rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff was great. Breakfast was ok, only hot option was the pancake machine. We were very centrally located to all the activities we decided to do while visiting the area. We would stay again if given the chance - thanks for a great stay."

"The staff’s customer service skills were exceptional, the room was clean and the ocean view was great. I booked for 1 night but decided to stay an extra night and was given the same room because the customers that booked my room decided they wanted a two queen bed room not the king room, so I got to keep the king room. The beach is a few feet away and there is a patio that faces the beach where you can sit and relax. I give Henlopen Hotel five stars plus and the bonus is it is clean affordable. Thank you for an amazing hotel experience!"

"Balcony overlooking the beach was wonderful. A/C unit a bit of a bummer as it is a wall unit and takes up space on the small balcony. Wish there was coffee and hot water all day in the lobby. No microwave as advertised, in room. Very small, inadequate refrigerator in 205. Basic breakfast sandwiches on morning buffet, 2 cereals, a few yogurts, apples & bananas. Nespresso machine in room - excellent. We enjoyed our stay."
