"Had booked and prepaid for a room with King bed. When we arrived they only had a room with a king bed that was pet friendly. My wife and I have allergies so they offered a double queen room which we accepted as there was no other choice. We are not large people but the beds felt smaller than a typical queen for some reason, maybe because we were expecting to be in a king bed. Room was filthy and could tell sections had not been cleaned or vacuumed in ages. It was not simply missed in the last cleaning as there was substantial build up. Crumbs, hair and layers of dust. It was a pretty disappointing stay. I’d consider a different hotel if possible. "

"The lounge area and lakeside area were lovely to hang out in and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. But pool was closed AND the restaurant was also closed and there were only 2 other places open in the area to get mediocre, overpriced food. We booked a room with two double beds in the main lodge building. It was tiny with barely enough room for the two very uncomfortable beds. From what I could tell, the rooms in the newer buildings looked nicer and more comfortable. I don’t leave reviews often, especially bad ones, but I feel other travelers should know what they’re getting."

"This is a very well-run establishment. Clean rooms with friendly staff. Enough space for two to get dressed up for an event at the same time. Breakfast offerings are spartan, but sufficient for a quick bite before a busy day."
