« The room was clean. Felt safe. Breakfast was nothing besides fruit and bread. I would stay if I was passing through the area again. Perfect for one night stay when visiting Avery Island! »

« Ok for the price. Bad smell from A/C floor was greasy »

« Didn’t put bags down and did not stay. Left without requesting refund -that bad. Staff left property so left a note saying we were not staying. Room lighting was so dark it felt like an alleyway. Smelly, broken AC, insects flying around, no signal on tv. And that was enough to leave. Added note: it’s been years since staying here so the expectation was that it was decent coming in from out of town and seeing it listed on hotels.com. I lost my cash reward but it was worth not waking up with...

« Do not book! Stay across the street. It has moldy curtains, cracked windows and unidentifiable stains. I took one look in the room and went straight back to the front desk where there was no one to be found! We left and stayed across the street for a few bucks more and it was great. »

« This is the second time we have stayed here… we enjoy coffee on the back porch, location is convenient for us…. We will be back. Peaceful surroundings are a plus. »

« This is an absolutely adorable little cottage set on the bayou with beautiful scenery I looked it and will be planning to stay here again when I'm in the area »

« Nice stay, bed could be a lil more comfortable. Cleanliness was good except for bathroom floor. »

« Clean and beautiful property very close to downtown. Will definitely use this website again. »

« Location was perfect. Host's communication was excellent and they were extremely helpful with questions and special requests. Would stay again! »

« Clean home and convenient location near acadiana fairgrounds »

« We had a delightful stay in New Iberia at The Bayou Chateau (our pup agreed). Clean, comfy and a beautiful location on the bayou. Mickey and Tiffany are most personable and thoughtful hosts. We couldn't ask for more. »
