The problem was that this was nowhere near the sea. Rather than 20 steps, it was an hour's walk away on mean suburban roads largely without sidewalks. "Great little villa and wonderful hosts. Lots of helpful advise and suggestions too. Do visit the beach club if it’s on offer and definitely visit the brewery / restaurant up the hill. Close enough for the beach and pisa and lucca and Florence. Highly recommended "
