Very average hotel. It doesn’t worth the price. I reserved this hotel for my elderly parents and paid for a sea view room. They gave us an average room on the fifth floor with no specific view. After two days I talked to the manager and insisted on room upgrade. It took me one hour to convince him to upgrade our room to a deluxe room. Deluxe room was better. More spacious with a terrace and view. This is the only reason I’m giving them 2 stars.
1- Rooms are very basic. No tissue box, no iron, no extra toilet rolls, safety box not bolted to the drawer (safety issue), basic design. Cards to open room’s door deactivated every other day.
2- Wifi was not working most of the time.
3- breakfast quality is ok but breakfast area is small and congested.
4- Cleaning ladies were really nice, but once I asked reception how to get to princess island, they gave us a wrong address. It took us one hour to get to the address they gave us and when we got there they told us this is not the right location. We had to come all the way back! You want to trust your hotel reception to get info from! How on earth they don’t know how to get to the one of the biggest tourist attractions in Istanbul?!
5- After moving to deluxe room they gave me a sofa bed which was extremely uncomfortable.
6- I smelled sewage some days in hallways.
