"Cabin was well maintained, very clean, well supplied with everything that could be needed during a stay, and comfortably furnished. Very relaxing and hypnotic to watch the river flowing. Saw geese, deer, and a skunk. Cabin was a bit farther from the town of Plains than we thought, although we didn’t have any touring planned. We mainly wanted to get away from regular daily life and just enjoy nature. Perfect for that reason. "

"The house is huge and beautifully accommodated our large group. There are trundle beds plus the primary bed in two rooms that provided beds for everyone. The deck has a beautiful territorial view. Entrance was a piece of cake with the lockbox. The place is very private."

"This was a nice camp for a quick visit with friends. The owners are very nice and friendly and allow you to play with all of their animals! The camp itself is pretty small and a little quirky- there is no sink in the bathroom, so you have to wash your hands and brush your teeth in the kitchen- but if you go with the "camping" mindset, you'll be fine."

"First, the negatives: * No air conditioner. The listing was accurate, but I didn't notice the missing A/C until a couple weeks before the trip. Wouldn't have been a problem except we stayed in the 105 degree heat wave of 2024. * There is not a bridge near the house: Its a 35 minutes to Plains, and an hour to Thompson Falls. * Kitchen is small and has no dishwasher.
