About this property

The Boat Motel on Ashley Lake- Where the mountains meet the water.

  • Wake up on Ashley Lake. This 3 bed, 3 bath boathouse sleeps 12 with a private dock, kayaks, and paddle boards right out front. Inside: custom antique kitchen, wood fireplace, pool table, clawfoot tubs, and a walk-in locker room shower. Downstairs bunk room sleeps the kids. Big deck for morning coffee and long summer evenings.

Required before check-in: pre-arrival form (guest names, emails, ages), photo ID upload, signed rental agreement. Link sent after booking.

A member of the True North Management team will meet you on-site between 4-6 pm for a personal tour and to answer any questions you may have regarding the property or any of the on-site amenities. If your arrival is after our personal check-in times, we would be happy to address any questions or offer additional support the following business day.

There is little to no traffic or neighbors. The Main Log Home is on the property, however there is no conjoining space that will need to be shared.

Check in between 4 and 6 pm and we'll meet you for a private walkthrough of the property. Otherwise, your lock box code comes through the day of check-in. You'll have a private entrance with extra parking. The upstairs is the main entrance, and the downstairs bunk room and bath have their own separate entrance. Down at the dock: fishing boat and poles, water tubes, floaties, and life jackets, all yours to use.

You walk in upstairs to the main living area, where a wood burning fireplace anchors the room and a pool table sits ready for the evenings nobody wants to end. This is where everyone ends up.

The kitchen is the heart of this place. Antique appliances that still work beautifully, full setup for real cooking, and a dining table that seats 6. It has the kind of character you can't build new.

The master bedroom has a queen bed and its own en-suite bathroom with a sink and a clawfoot tub and shower. The spare bedroom holds two queen beds, plenty of room for a family or a couple of friends. There's a second full bathroom on this floor, clawfoot tub and shower as well.

Downstairs is where the kids will want to be. The bunk room has 3 bunk beds, sleeping 6, and it opens right into an enormous locker room style bathroom. Two sinks, walk-in showers, and two private commodes. No one is waiting in line here, and no one is tracking lake water through the main house.

That last part matters more than it sounds. Wet swimsuits, sandy feet, and a full house of people coming and going all day. This layout was built for it.

You will need a vehicle to get back and forth from town. There is a 13-person caravan that may be available for your visit at an additional fee. Contact the property manager for details.

Prior to your stay, we require you to complete a pre-arrival form and sign & agree to our rental conditions.
