"Very expensive for what you get. Probably because Telluride is an expensive town. Parking is on the street. No AC and Heat was imprecise to control. Otherwise the bed was comfortable. A little older property, but everything you need such as restaurants, popular bars, grocery store, shopping, ski rentals, location to the gondola and most importantly coffee is within a block or two—really can’t beat the location. The staff was always available and accommodating and the cleaning service was top notch! The only issue we had was the continuous plugging of the toilets and broken bathtub water faucet handle. "The house is very interesting with a unique flow (entry is on the third floor). Theater seating is a bonus! The driveway is tricky in the winter with a hairpin turn in the middle. The beds aren’t exactly as advertised, as one is a “kiddie” mattress in a loft (up a ladder). Really sleeps two couples (which we were not). Overall though, we liked the place!"

"Our unit was very comfortable and well suited to our needs. It was very well equipped. The location was great - a short walk to town, and the trail along the San Miguel River was steps away. Access to the Bear Creek trail was also close - about a 5 min walk. Communication with the owner was great. I would definitely recommend this unit."

"The Alma House was FANTASTIC! My wife is pretty much the litmus test for all hotels in the world. AND this was the BASE from which all hotels will be measured from this day forward. The location, the atmosphere, the appointment of each room speaks how well this B&B is cared for. We’ve stayed across the country and across the UK and The Alma House was by far her favorite. We always travel with our 3 Yorkies, and even they were welcome, Mocha says hi! Thanks again for a great stay, we WILL be back!"
