« We had an incredible stay very close to the Mark Twain National Forest! The property was clean, well-maintained, and perfectly situated right on the St. Francis River, making it an ideal spot. We loved hiking and swimming in the nearby shut-ins (it was warm enough in March!). The peacefulness of the area was exactly what we were looking for. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with beautiful surroundings, this is the perfect place. We would definitely stay here again! »

« When I saw that this was available during my spring break, I had to book it again! And it continues to impress me. We saw river otters and a bald eagle. Went fishing and did a lot of relaxing. My only complaint during this visit is that the hot tub was pretty dirty. However, I will absolutely be back. »

« Everything was perfect (except for the weather at check-in!). The location is wonderful, we loved the bathroom/showers and greenhouse where we could hang and eat and admire Benka's plants! (So many orchids!). Keith was an awesome host filling us in on everything - even the surrounding area. The walking paths are beautiful and serine. The additional 5 canine hosts were adorable and Mici I'm so sorry you didn't spend at least one night with us! I wish we would have been able to stay longer...

« This is the perfect place for a girl’s trip or family getaway! The property is gorgeous with lots of room for outdoor activities. If the weather doesn’t permit, the house is spacious and filled with activities such as board games, instruments if your family or friends are musically inclined, books, and television. The check in and checkout process was smooth, and the host was very responsive when we had questions. We left with all 11 in our group wanting to return each year to this perfect...
