"Incredible spot and home in Crete. It's about a 90 minute drive from Heraklion airport but if you're looking for a spot away from the crowds, this is the place for you (at least at the end of June).
Can't say enough about the view and outdoor space. When we were home, we spent almost all of our time outside at the huge table or by the pool. The beach and sea are just a few steps down from the house. The house was very clean and had everything we needed.
The hosts were great and very helpful....
"schönes Ferienhaus, wir haben die drei Terassen geliebt, in der ersten Woche hatten wir den einen Pool fast für uns allein, ohne Auto nicht machbar, mit Google Maps nicht gefunden, ca. 2 Fahrstunden von Heraklion entfernt, mit Glück auch schneller, der Vermieter muß die Substanz im Auge behalten, damit die Qualität nicht sinkt"
"The Coriva Beach hotel is a delight. Everywhere you look, the property is beautifully maintained, everything is just aesthetically pleasing, the staff is warm and friendly. The hotel is not opulently luxurious or overdone. It's a family owned place: three brothers took over the management of the place from their Dad. So, it doesn't have that Hiltony-Marriot-like corporate feel to it. Instead, Covina is homey, relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast options here are varied and delicious, with tables...
"We stayed for four nights and we really enjoyed it. The new rooms are really beautiful. Great breakfast and nice pool. We completely relaxed when we stayed there and would not mind coming back. The neighbourhood was so so though. And don't follow Google Maps on your way there! Stick to the main road."
"The rooms are somewhat basic, but there is nothing missing. If anything, that adds to the summer feeling of spending all day at the beach - which is so close - and returning to an uncomplicated room in the evening.
Very clean and the staff is very friendly.
Some things do need a bit of maintenance (example, the toilet flush was leaking, so we had to turn it shut each time etc) but nothing really significant.
I would gladly go back or recommend it to friends who are looking for an easy-going...
"Beds & pillows were comfy. Hotel was quiet. Check in desk stayed open until midnight when I arrived and was very kind on the phone and in person... even at midnight! Upper front rooms have balcony and slight view of ocean. Toilet was leaking, hotel is a little old, but the property is kept up very nicely. Five-minute walk to village & beach. Amazing hotel for the price of $44! Didn't use shower or pool and didn't eat breakfast--only stayed one night. Hotel is a 1-1/2 hour drive from HER airport...
"Overall nice holiday, disappointed there wasn't much to do there apart from sunbathe, swim or drink, there were pool tables in photographs but not when we arrived "

Great location
"Great spot. Lots of things to see and places to eat."
"Very welcoming hosts, quick and easy check-in and spacious and modern room with en-suite with complimentary tea & coffee facilities and a taster bottle of raki."
"The staff at the Numoierapetra were amazing - helpful, friendly and so keen to make our stay as good as it could be. The rooms were clean, the beds and showers great, and the main pool area with the bar had a great vibe! Our group really enjoyed the excellent morning yoga at 8am with a really good teacher - a great way to start the day! The food in the main buffet restaurant was much better than we expected, with an excellent variety of choices that changed every day. It was a la carte quality rather than 'hotel buffet' standard. And the location of the main restaurant was lovely, overlooking the sea. Perfect for breakfast and also sunset. The spa treatments were great and the spa therapists lovely, just like the rest of the staff. The location of the restaurant means that there is not a lot that you can walk to, but with such a lovely resort you do not really need to leave it!"

"Very nice place! Excellent value. Some wear around the edges, but well cared for and great service. Room was very comfortable and clean. Pool and public areas were good. Breakfast bar was delicious with many options. Close walk to beach and main town area, but far enough away to avoid the crowd if you wanted. Great value for the price!"
"If you are visiting the Irepetra area of Crete, you can of course stay at one of the fancy resorts right on the water. But if you want a truly unique and memorable experience, THIS is the place to stay. Authentic, traditional vibe with all the necessary modern amenities, quiet and relaxing atmosphere, within walking distance of many Tavernas AND the beach, and in my opinion a better view of the Libyan Sea. Plus Ioanna and her wonderful staff will take good care of you. If I could give it 6 stars I would - will definitely be returning here the next time I visit the area!!!"
