We really enjoyed staying at this house for our trip to Cedar Point. Location is great for getting to/from the park quickly and easily. The unit is all upstairs- you enter to a nice, wide staircase that takes you up to the living room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. Perfect size for our group.
Very nice and clean cottage close to cedar point and the beach. Close to food and stores. Please note there are several stairs to get in the property. It is upstairs and has a nice deck which we enjoyed, but it isn't on the lake. Would definitely stay again. Very nice rental and owner
Everything was fantastic! Even the neighbors were friendly & helpful when I asked about the area. I only wish we hadn’t come when the mayflies arrived, but that has nothing to do with the property. It was a wonderful home to stay in and enough space for myself and my 7 children. Would definitely stay again!
We had a lovely stay here. The property manager was very responsive. The grill propane tank was empty and she came over immediately to give us a new one. The place was beautiful with plenty of room. The beach was very close end the kids loved to play in the calm, sheltered water of the small cove. The only thing that I might say about the house that would have been good to know is that we weren't aware that the apartment was only accessable by 21 steep steps. My sister, who was staying in a nearby house, could not get in to eat with us, but she was able to picnic outside on the porch.
The home was nice and clean with plenty of room. Things not listed!!! This home is on the 2nd floor with 21 steps to enter. Also there is not enough parking for a boat. Maybe a small vehicle and small boat. I could not turn my full size truck easily in the space. Luckily we didn’t not bring the boat (18ft inboard Motor) or it would have had to be backed down the street about 50 yards each time. I would also describe this as an apartment instead of cottage.
Easy access to the beach and fishing. Nice park with basketball court.
Our host Amy was responsive to a few concerns that came up. The house was beautifully clean and spacious for group and accurately portrayed. The outside view is obstructed from seeing beach when grilling. However, the park very close by called Rye Beach is wonderful and shady and has a wonderful entry to small cove beach and fishing pier, liked! Swimming better at Nicole Plate Beach —a few min drive and excellent family beach. Recommend. Would recommend this property with simple understanding that you will have ample comfortable space but no direct beach view. We enjoyed our time for sure,
The property was clean and met our expectations. There were a couple of concerns however. We were able to unlock the door with no problem, but had difficulty locking it when going out to dinner. We also did not know how to adjust the temp. in the apt. Finally we were not able to use the television in the living room area. It continued to message us, "not connected to the Internet". Written instructions would have been helpful for us old people. We thank you for your hospitality, and God bless you. Will & Kathy Braniff

Celebration of Life
Property was fair due to high level of pollen it was not possible to enjoy the outdoors on the premises. Bed in the one bedroom with single queen mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable. With a different bed I would possibly stay again in the future.
There were lots of spiders. A good pest control spray would be great. Inside and out on the deck. Also, because its by the water lots of flying bugs inside and out. The door frame had a smashed bug on it and the whole foyer needs to be cleaned of bugs and cobwebs. Also, while we were gone on saturday someone came on the property and left sawdust all over the driveway and it smelled of paint when we got back. Otherwise we had a great time and the location was convenient to Sandusky where they held bike week.

Huron Lake House
The outside was dirty, unkept, and scary upon our first approach. The front door was filthy, scratched, and dented. The deck and patio areas were dirty, unmaintained, filled with debris, and not comfortable enough to enjoy (for THE PRICE WE PAID). I was so scared at first, that I had booked a nightmare VRBO, until we went inside, and realized the inside was decent enough. This whole situation explains why there were never pictures of the outside of the establishment online. I am assuming it was pricey because it's "lakeside?" It claims there's a nice 2-minute walking path from the house to the shore, but really, you have to walk through people's properties and backyards, to get anywhere close - making it very awkward. The owner was kind and mostly responsive, yet she claimed she sent me the check in information, when she never did. I had to request it. All in all, because the inside was acceptable, we had a good stay. I had just imagined something totally different for a "beach front" property, at the price it was.
I rated The Ritz Condo 4/5. We loved the condo and it’s layout and location was great for what we did at Cedar Point, Put in Bay, and beach. Very logistically great. I found the hospitality to be fair and below what I’ve experienced at prior properties we have stayed at in the past. Having small things like fresh creamer and coffee, some small token things such as candies or small breakfast items were not part of this experience, we also had very limited cleaning items to clean during our stay. Things such as Clorox wipes, dishwasher products/Brillo pads to clean pans towels, limited paper towels and limited garbage bags. Additionally, I had an issue with the lights going out in bathroom when I turned exhaust and shower light on simultaneously, this was very odd. The host is very responsive. Overall give it 3-4/5 for reasons noted.
