Food is of a general high quality, but they could improve what they call “French patisserie” it’s just lots of cream cakes, similarly porridge looked like soup. I would give it 5 stars except for the fact that there is a construction site next to the hotel and the hotel rooms 00-35 room entrance face the site and you can hear even through the night the occasional drilling, jack hammering as the sites seem to operate 24/7\. Also everything is negotiable including spa pricing etc, staff wonder around the pools and beach offering services and discount which you can negotiate a lot lower than if you book directly with the spa. Only other big bear was the fact that the à la carte restaurants were all nearly booked out when we arrived, yet when we did get last minute bookings we would often arrive to find the restaurants not full, not sure if they hold tables for paying customers that get released late. But it is quite poor form. Apart from that large clean modern rooms, children had an amazing time. Just wishes the main pool was heated in winter.
