overnight stay
One night stay, hotel just around the corner from the main bar/restaurant street but our room was quiet. Room was a little dated but generally clean 20min walk to citadel

Central and reasonable.
Two nights touring the area. The hotel was good and central. Staff were friendly and helpful. I wouldn't book any tours here as they charge more than the competition.

Friendly Staff with good location at a fair price
My girlfriend and I stayed at DMZ for 1 night while passing through Hue on our way to Hanoi. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we were greeted with a small welcome drink. We booked our city tour and taxi to the airport through them at a reasonable price. They let us leave our luggage there the next day as we went on our city tour and our flight wasn't until 630pm. The room was small, but we were expecting that. The only issue was there were some small black flakes coming from the air con unit. Not a lot, but they were land on the bed (white sheets). Great location near everything. Breakfast ok just like all the other free breakfasts we've gotten on our travels (not great, but good enough).

Hotel was good for the price. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived (at 4pm) but they said it was due to the Tet holiday so they were short on staff. They offered to take our bags and gave us a map of places to go see while we waited. We came back that night and the room was ready and they brought our bags up. Room was small and had no window to the outside but it was clean.

Good staff but moldy rooms
The DMZ - Hotel has good and clean rooms. Unfortunately many of the rooms smells moldy. The staff told us it's because of the rainy season. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was good.

The hotel staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Although the rooms can be update a bit, the service of the staff, particularly the front desk staff make this hotel an excellent choice.

best cheapest hotel in the world
the best $12 room I ever had, Good bed, great breakfast served by the lovely Ngoc, friendliest staff, treated me better than my family. Good location, flat panel TV, Cable TV, free computers, walking distance to everything, What more do you want?

I will always remember my experience at this hotel because of the excellent service. When I first came to this hotel, the taxi driver ripped me off by taking moeny out of my hands without returning me his change. I was stunned that when I cam to the hotel lobby, and told the the owner of the hotel of my pligt, he told me, "I will take care of it." Threee days later he finds the taxi driver and arranges a meeting. I decide to give the taxi driver a tip ($5 U.S. dollars) to make peace when the owner (Mr. Lee) tells me, "I will drive you to your next destination, Hoi An free of charge." Everyone is happy, The taxi driver gets a tip, and I get VIP teatment to my next destination. Mr. Lee drives to Hoi An upon checking out three days later speaking fluent English. He is honest and willing to help you at all the times. This can also be said for the manger (who also speak fluent Engish) and the hotel receptionist (who speak just basic English). All around, this is one of my favorite places to stay in Vietnam.

Great location, hotel, service.... Could not complain about anything. The breakfast was really good. We had Ngoc serving us and helping us with booking trips, excellent service. They have a bar and restuarant round the corner which you can get 10% off. We never went to the restaurant, but went to the bar and got 10% off our evening drinks.

“Reasonable price, great hotel, good location"
I've stayed for 1 night at the DMZ Hotel in Hue for business. I had a free upgrade to deluxe room because I booked this hotel by Expedia. The hotel itself is situated in a great location with many great cafes and bars nearby (and Perfume river too). The rooms are spacious and very comfortable.The staffs are friendly and courteous at all times.DMZ corp has DMZ hotel, DMZ bar, Little Italy restaurant and DMZ travel so when I lived there, I had many discount prices from other members. I had many a long conversation with a customer and service care representative at the hotel. All in all a great experience and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and inexpensive place to stay while in Hue together with friendly and enthusiastic staff who go out of their way to make your stay more enjoyable. I will come back more often and I will be there next time.

We booked a very cheap room and so we can't really complain BUT... the room adjoined another room with a glass door with sticky cloth on it for privacy but we could hear the neighbours talking and their (loud). The view was of a concrete moldy wall 1m away. We asked for 2 extra pillows and after a long wait got one. The room price included breakfast, you order one meal and one drink per person. This was fine. I wouldn't drink the tea or coffee as both were lukewarm and I wasn't at all confident the water had been boiled. The location of DMZ is very good. Less than one minute walk to three good restaurants, including Little Italy. A 7min taxi ride to Imperial City, 10min walk to market. There are 2 desktop computers for clients' use. I wouldn't stay here again but it'd be fine for a budget traveller.

Clean room, friendly staff. Room was smaller than we expected, and our 'window' was a window to the staircase, not to outside as we expected. From their reputation, we expected more than we received. But, at the end of the day, it was clean, adequate and friendly staff. I guess you get what you pay for, but it was billed as more than it delivered

Mình đặt phòng cho ba mẹ. Sau khi ở 1 đêm thì hôm sau mình lên xem phòng. Chung chung là: phòng hôi mốc cực kỳ muốn ngẹt thở, tủ thì rớt ngăn ko sd đc, phòng thì bé tẹo chỉ để vừa 1 cái giường, trần nhà mốc đen. Sàn nhà cũ nên nhìn rất dơ, vs cũng ko tốt. Mức giá gọi là khá cao so với các ks trên đg chu văn an gần đó nhưng dịch vụ tệ hơn nhiều. Lúc mình xuống yêu cầu đổi phòng và hỏi lý do tại sao lại đẩy ba mẹ mình vô ở phòng đó thì ks trả lời do lúc nhận phòng gđ ko phản ánh gì nên ko đổi. Ba mẹ mình lớn tuổi lại ít đi du lịch- ở ks, mẹ mình bệnh nên đi khám kết hợp du lịch vì vậy sợ phản ánh sẽ ko có phòng để nghỉ ngơi nên ko nói. Ks bán phòng phải đảm bảo phòng ở dk tốt nhất hợp lý với giá tiền rồi mới đc bán chứ. Cái tâm của ng làm dv ko có. This is a baddest hotel i have been in Hue. The room is very tiny and smell like for age no one use it, the make up table was broken. I booked it for my parents and they are old, rarely to stay in hotel alone without us so they dont know that can change room, so they keep silent about the quality of that room until i came and complaint with hotel. And i got answer that because they dont ask to change so still give that room to them. Such a stupid and unprofessional answer i have heard. Hotel sales rooms and the most important duty is make sure the room is best quality with price. Higher cost but baddest quality hotel that in same level i have been in Huế

地元でレストランやバー等を経営するDMZグループのホテルです。 地元出身の子が「お客様サービスに徹底していて面接も厳しい」と言うだけあってスタッフの対応はいいです。 しかしながら立地は決して便利とは言えず、夕食出来る店も近くでは限られており現地食の苦手な方には 不向きなホテルです。

Pour qui aime les moisissures
Odeur infecte dans la chambre, moisissures à foison. Oreillers d'une rare puanteur. Petit déjeuner moyen. Il y a tellement d'hôtels à côté qu'il n'est pas difficile de trouver mieux !

女一人で利用。 良い点：スタッフのみなさんがフレンドリーで癒されました。近くの食堂のブンボーフエがおいしかったです。 悪い点：建物やエアコン等の設備がとても古く、日本のビジネスホテルレベルの快適さはありません。周辺は夜になると男性がたむろしていて、少し怖かったです。（複数人で利用する、とにかく安く済ませたい、という場合ならOKかと思います。）

Les avantages de DMZ Hôtel
Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits à l'hôtel DMZ de Hué . DMZ est très bien placé , sa situation centrale permet de visiter la ville à pied. Les chambres sont confortables et propres , le personnel est très attentif et très serviable . Ils nous ont organisé des excursions et le transport jusqu'à Hoi An qui était notre étape suivante . Seul léger reproche:un petit déjeuner un peu léger . En conclusion très bon rapport qualité prix.
