"The Staff was not very friendly. There was no breakfast offered. The room we stayed in looked to be for a handicapped person with a roll in shower and the toilet was almost part of the shower. This is a no frill motel. We got in late and left early. This was a place to sleep for the night at a reasonable price."

"Loved this boutique hotel! We booked at the last moment, so didn't have our swimsuits with us, but next time we definitely will. Rooms were very clean and nicely updated. Beds were comfortable. We had fresh baked pastries in the restaurant (they have their own pastry chef onsite), which were so good. Restaurant decor was very cool. Enjoyed our stay immensely."

"It was a gorgeous building and grounds, but sorely understaffed. At check-in, we were given no information about amenities, internet, or any hotel features. I’ve never before been at a hotel at this price point that lacked a concierge, valet, and bellhop/ porter. We got lost looking for our room were offered no help lugging our bags up stairs. We couldn’t find any staff members to help us and, when we reached our room and had questions (we had been given the wrong room), our calls to the front desk went unanswered. The indoor and outdoor spaces were both stunning. Our apartment had many thoughtful, high-end touches, from a Dyson hairdryer to a mixology kit, to an umbrella. While we were there, it was beautifully decorated for fall and offered complimentary cider and donuts. It’s an amazing historical building that looks like it would be an unforgettable wedding venue, but it could use a lot more signage and staff to orient guests. A spa or salon on site would be nice, as well."
