"The stay was wonderful! An extremely beautiful view, clean and serene space, and everything was provided for. Dave and his family were wonderful, and helped provide everything we could need. Even getting us out of the mud on the first night. Close to some of the best wineries and eats in the area, and a short drive to some very visually stunning parks beyond the lake itself. "We had a great weekend staying in the property. The wood burner was great for a chilly early spring weekend, Elizabeth was very clear and accommodating in her communications making it very easy and everything was just great. My only regret is not booking the third night to stay for the Solar Eclipse and to get to explore the property further. We thoroughly enjoyed the area and the accommodations at the Yurt were perfect for my wife and I!"

"We enjoyed our stay so much and wish we could have stayed a little longer. Place was perfect for 2 and a doggie. The view of the lake was awesome. Nothing like waking up to that view. Located near Countless wineries, breweries and lots of things to do, including kayaking to see the Falls. We enjoyed that quite a bit. Highly recommended!"

Would love to come back in spring/summertime to see the gardens that are outside the sliding glass doors and walk the nature path to the waterfall. (It was pretty cold while we were there, and we were visiting family, so did not have time to enjoy the surrounding beauty. ) Bed was very comfortable, and we slept great!"

"We really enjoyed staying in this little home. It is within walking distance of downtown Watkins Glen so it is very easy to walk to if you choose to do so. The inside was very clean and well kept. We liked the close proximity to various winerys and restaurants. It made it very easy to stop back and drop off our goodies we collected throughout the days we were there."

"This place has a great location. The neighborhood is safe and so quiet. All of the beds are very comfortable. The only drawback is that this is not the entire house. We were surprised there is an upstairs apartment. We did not see any mention of this in the narrative. The folks upstairs were quiet, so it was fine. Also, it stated there was a hot tub and sauna, which there were not. Not a big deal for us and we we still enjoyed ourselves."

My husband & I enjoyed relaxing in front of the pellet stove. & to our surprise, we even experienced our first snow of the season during our stay.
