« The She Shed was great. Cozy little spot. Stayed for three nights and slept great. The hosts we're awesome: helpful and hospitable. The cabin was stocked well enough that we could cook a little breakfast in the morning and head off to Mammoth Cave for some hiking during the day. Really happy I found this spot. « Host answered promptly to any questions. It was a beautiful location. There was firewood outside with a place to sit and have a fire. Unfortunately, it rained so we couldn’t do that. There was even chocolate and marshmallows inside. The home itself was very comfortable. I would put extra blankets as the blankets are thin and it was cold and wet outside. The rooms heat will adjust but we enjoy cooler with blankets. Bunk bed needs railing for safety on top. Also, the mattresses on the bunkbed...

« The cabin's setting among rolling pasture was so wildly picturesque. We woke up one morning to fields covered in light frost and it felt like a dream. The interior is perfectly updated to be clean and super functional while retaining a ton of country/cabin charm. Some of the most restful sleep I've ever gotten, with the only sound after dark being the occasional delightful clip-clop of a horse drawn buggy.Our host even went out of her way to help us with plans after our National Park cave tour...

« If you move in and find a lot of bugs, I have a good method to get rid of them without having to do it by hand. You can catch the bugs in the trash can and flush them down the toilet. But it's difficult to flush the bug corpses out of the room's toilet. »

Great location, we were 15 minutes from every excursion! Very easy drive. We loved this place! Perfect for a couple to get away for a bit. Very quiet and peaceful. The cabin was so clean and had everything you could need right there. I highly recommend staying here and we will be going back! »

The property was nice and quiet and close to Mammoth Caves so it was easy to get around. The fire pit was also well built and well maintained and offered a great place to hang out in the evenings. Hughly recommend staying here if you want to visit Mammoth Caves. »

"I enjoyed my stay in the National park. The historical cabins are conveniently located. Closed to the restaurants and trails. Cave tours are amazing. However the cabins are getting old and there was a persistent muggy smell inside. The AC was too loud. Even with my earplugs, I had hard time to fall asleep. "
