Our BEAUTIFUL CABIN is located a mile from The Narrows Marina where you can enjoy boating, fishing and walking trails. Each side is 3000 sq ft with the garage set up with lots of games for family game nights. The main floor offers a fully furnished kitchen with Kuerig Duo coffee maker and all the pots, pans and utensils you need. The beautiful stone gas fireplace is great for cozy nights in. Enjoy the screened in back porch area while you cookout on the grill or walk down to your own private firepit (wood provided) and enjoy hotdogs & smores with your family. The walk-out basement has a second family room, large game room with pool table and a bedroom. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer place to stay. Take pics near our Bubbling Boulder & sleep on the same spa sheets used in 97% of Forbes 5-Star resorts. We are conveniently located near Mammoth Cave, Dinosaur World and Lost River Cave.

This property can accommodate a small family. Combined with Unit#1, VRBO #2077684 the sleeping capacity is doubled.

We enjoyed our stay at Barren River very much. The kitchen had everything we needed as we like to cook our own meals. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. My kids enjoyed the playroom/hangout space downstairs. The artwork/decor was probably my favorite touch. The host was quick to respond to our questions and was very good to us during our stay.

Great short trip to cave country

We booked a last minute stay during our kids' spring break and were very happy with the home. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 and 2 small dogs, and it was well furnished with everything needed for cooking a couple meals at home. Quiet neighborhood with a private feel, an easy base for day trips to Cave City and Bowling Green.

Perfect getaway for a group of friends

We stayed two nights with another family for a low key getaway for my husband’s 40th birthday. We grilled out, hung out by the fire and just enjoyed the downtime. There were lots of things to entertain the kids, from games to tinker toys; and the property was just beautiful. We will definitely keep this one in our list of places to revisit!!

A beautiful cabin with so many things to do!

The cabin is so spacious, clean, and well stocked with everything you could need. There were games for the kids and the entire family. A beautiful fire pit, pool table and lots of room to explore. The communication with the host was spot on! She made everything easy and stress-free. We will definitely be back! Quiet and peaceful place.

Beautiful modern cabin

This cabin is accurately described in the listing. The spacious 2 story open living room allows a lot of light in. There was plenty of space for our family of 5 adults. We visited Mammoth Cave and Crystal Onyx Cave and hiked in the area. We would have liked to use the outdoor fire pit and screened in porch, but time did not allow.

The Perfect Place for us

We had a family getaway weekend and ended up here while we ventured out and explored a little bit of what Kentucky has to offer. A beautiful place in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed our evenings here relaxing, enjoying the sunset and brushing up on our pool skills. It was the perfect place for us. Great cabin close to Mammoth Cave National Park.

This is a great rental located within a short driving distance of Mammoth Cave National Park. We would definitely stay here again. Our only issue was we couldn't find pot holders to use to take stuff out of the oven but we made due.

Fantastic Cabin and Host

The cabin is amazing and worked great for our weekend trip!! Plenty of space, very clean, stocked with indoor and outdoor games. The screened in porch is fantastic for hanging out in the evenings. Melissa the host was great and communication was excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to the area as a place to stay.

Great location

A group of friends stayed here because we had a fishing tournament on Barren River over the weekend. We enjoy this location because there is plenty of space for our boats and there is a lot of peace and quiet. The place is very nice and offers a great place to relax. Plenty of sleeping options and plenty of options to hang out.

Wonderful family getaway

My family ages 21 to 70+ had a nice long weekend at the cabin. Everything was spotless and the property was very quiet and relaxing. We really enjoyed the fire pit and screened porch. The cabin had all the amenities we needed. I especially liked that one of the bedrooms was on the main floor as my parents are elderly. The host was very responsive. Cabin location was also great and within less than a 40 minute drive of activities for all interests and ages.

Gorgeous

This cabin and property is beautiful and spacious. It is well stocked with everything you could ever need. Melissa is an incredible communicator and check in/out is a breeze. My family loved the walk out basement and pool table- not to mention the yard and fireplace. Would definitely recommend! Grocery stores and restaurants within 20 minutes, Mammoth Cave about 40 minutes. If we are ever in the area again, we will absolutely stay here!
