"It was a nice room. The pool is quite big. The sauna is nice and HOT. I was surprised by the number of children around. It was very appreciated that they had adult only hours, as well as an adult only hot tub. Unfortunately, there were teenagers in this area several times. There should be a phone nearby to call the front office. The sign on the outdoor hot tub says 18+ ALL HOURS - so it was a bummer when we were kicked out of the hot tub promptly at 10 PM. I wish it went a little later. There was quite a bit of door slamming throughout our time. I know there are signs around asking people to be quiet, but the doors are just designed to slam if you're not careful. The restaurant was not very good. I enjoyed my cocktail! We waited over an hour to get food because the fryer was down? No french fries, and few other side options. Eventually they fixed the fryer, but then I was served my dinner, and my husband's food was forgotten! The only thing that saved the experience was the server who gave us free fries and a dessert. The free putt putt on-site was pretty cool! Overall, I would stay again."

"The view of the Columbia River from some of the rooms is just spectacular! And they have a lovely place to sit to view the river as well. and in spring and summer. the flower plantings on the grounds are just stunning! In the room (ones with river view, I'm not sure about others),they provide binoculars so you can enjoy looking at the wing foilers and also the birds. I also like looking at the trains across the river. The aesthetics of the room are okay if you get the kitchenette, but it's a little awkward how they fit the refrigerator in, aesthetically inmean. There's plenty of room. But we get it because we like to make some of our own breakfasts if we're staying more than one night and we also really enjoy the river view. But this stay, unlike our last one, one of our windows was quite dirty. I'm not sure if it's permanent because it's on the ground level and sprinklers may but it, but we had asked immediately if the window could be washed and it didn't appear it ever was, nor were we given an explanation. So opening all the curtains and seeing this beautiful Vista and then just seeing this cloudy kind of dirty area on half the windows was a bummer. luckily there was one quite large window that was very clean and we just sort of and focused out of that one. We would still go back but we would make sure we got the uostairs kitchenette room."

"Beautiful spot. Felt a little nickel and dimed with resort fee, parking and pet fee on top of room rate. Very few rooms have a balcony or patio so the common area and Adirondack chairs are busy in the evenings to enjoy the fresh air and views. Patio seating at restaurant is also popular and limited. Since that is only place dogs are welcome wait time can be lengthy. We did score our second night. Dogs are made to feel welcome with a big bowl of ice water and their own goody bag in room."

"It was a beautiful spot in the middle of a pear orchard and surrounded by two mountains.You are surrounded by the beauty of Gods creation.Our family enjoyed the peace of it while still being close to town.Thank you for sharing your house with us."

"The on-site restaurant is a truly lovely place for breakfast. We sat indoors in July because it was a bit too cool and windy to be outdoors, but we enjoyed the gorgeous sunny view of the Columbia River and the umbrellas over the tables softly waving in the breeze. And the food was excellent and well priced. On our final day, we walked along the path on the river that was also a great amenity."

"One of the reasonable rates in the area and we knew it was historical so we knew it was older so we were afraid ot would be dated. We were pleasantly surprised to find modern amenities while still maintaining the history. We were greeted by an incredibly friendly staff. Wonderful bar and breakfast in the morning. We were upgraded to a river view and slept with the windows open listening to the on site waterfall and woke to a glorious gorge sunrise."
