The local farmers market is the place to be three times per week for fresh produce (perfect for crafting tasty meals in your full kitchen) and homemade wares. And don’t miss a visit to Queen Kapiolani Garden, right in your own backyard. ABOUT THE COTTAGE Tropical décor makes the living room extra inviting -- and the layout is ideal for socializing, with plenty of seating for the whole “ohana.” There’s a teak wood bench with comfy cushions, two wicker chairs, and a reading table for two. In the peaceful backyard, you’ll find plenty of room to relax on the lush grassy area, or enjoy dinner alfresco at the picnic table in the front yard. Pretty and practical, the kitchen boasts glossy new white appliances and granite counters, with plenty of cabinet space for storage and a moveable center island for additional prep space. With two bedrooms, the home sleeps four comfortably. After a day at the beach, kick back in the charming master bedroom, complete with a wrought-iron queen bed, flat-screen TV, and plenty of storage in a teak dresser and closet. Adjacent, the second bedroom offers two twin beds with lovely wrought-iron bed frames. Large windows let in plenty of natural light. A full bathroom features a subway-tiled tub/shower combination and extra storage. EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS Guest amenities include a stackable washer/dryer and complimentary Wi-Fi. You will love hearing the birds (and roosters). You can take a short walk to get to Pioneer Saloon for a plate lunch or Bogarts cafe for breakfast. The beach and the zoo are all right there. Just a wonderful, restful little spot for when you are in Honolulu. If you want action this is not the place for you. No tv- just a smart tv in bedroom. Open up the windows and enjoy the breeze and peacefulness. And yes be prepared for the driveway - just use the parking lot of the park next door for coming and going. ##### Abby M. Walking distance to great food, cross Kapiolani Park to beach in 15 mins. It was spotless!
