"Great location between west bay and west end. Turtle bay beach was nice and cleaned up daily - the beach to the right of the house not so much- lots of sand flies!!!! Bring the bug spray. Pool was nice to rinse off in - small but adequate- screened in porch was lovely!! Great snorkeling straight off the beach and kayaks a huge plus! A few more towels would have been nice but there is a w/d. Kitchen fully equipped. Overall great place for a family vacation"

"If you like the idea of staying at a resort with just you and your friends, this is the place for you. Several large bedroom's and fantastic common areas. Larissa (the house manager) is an absolute home run! She and her son made our gang a meal one night that was out of this world. She took very good care of us throughout our stay. We also went with the driver package and Abraham was there for us at all times and places any time we needed him. All in all this place was great!"

"Palmetto Bay is a wonderful place to stay! I loved the beautiful grounds of the resort in addition to the beach and dock. The restaurant and bar were very good and the staff was wonderful, especially Jan! Roatan is a special place amd Palmetto Bay was a great home base to explore it!"

"Gorgeous property. The pool area and the beach were really nice, and you can snorkle right off the beach and see tons of colorful fish. It rained almost our whole stay and there was a leak in our bathroom ceiling at one point, but it was fixed quickly. The spa facilities were so tranquil and have a great view of the ocean as well. Breakfast was good, though it is definitely on the pricier side. There is a free evening shuttle into town and a free cocktail at sunset. Would stay again. "

"Our room was very clean and well appointed. The food was excellent, the pool and bar staff were also really good. My only criticism was they seemed understaffed, as the service times seemed a bit too long and that was directly due to staffing (we waited 25 minutes just to have someone take or dinner order the last night we were there. Regardless, we will be coming back. "
