"Five-night stay. Our room was fresh, clean, and well maintained. Kudos to the housekeeping staff. The outdoor pool area was immaculate. The elevators were always clean. And extra gratitude to the breakfast kitchen staff. A spotlessly clean breakfast buffet and dining area. The food was delicious and the variety was impressive. The nicest you could ask for. We always look for a Hampton when we travel, and the Ft. Walton Beach hotel is one of the nicest we have ever stayed at."

"Breakfast was just ok. Tiny biscuits were so overdone you could not cut them with the plastic knife, even when coated with gravy. Our main concern was the tub was slicker than an ice rink. No grab bars. Dangerous. At the very least provide a tub mat. High marks for the staff. Great location. Not enough shelf space around sink."
