Dave and June have a lovely B&B. It's convenient to walk around Saugatuck Mi to shops and restaurants. The 3 rooms with baths are decorated to match the age of the house with antique clock, paintings a wallpaper. Dave takes pride in his breakfasts, as well should. Quiche,scones, fresh fruit that are local and excellent coffee are hard to beat. Don't pass up a stay her. Only down side is parking is at a premium. The AC window unit was loud and kept us from sleeping. There is a step up into the barhroom which was a little difficult to navigate in the middle of the night. Loose tiles in the bathroom, and the toilet wouldn't always flush. We loved breakfast, especially the baked goods and coffee. This place has lots of character! We visited off season for one night stop on our way from Detroit to Chicago. We had the whole place basically to ourselves. Loved the homey decor, lots of old furnitures and decorations, and the library area was very cosy. David the owner was very welcoming and friendly and cooked a great breakfast for us.
