"We had the whole family here. My wife and I, our three daughters and grandkids for a total of 9 of us. This place was perfect for us. Plenty of rooms for all, and the large kitchen gave us lots of room for all to gather at meal time without tripping over each other. We loved the large yard where the kids could run off their energy and the large deck was a real joy. When we had a question we got answers almost immediately. That was a real bonus. "I have been in real estate for 37 years and this property was beautiful. The scenic view from the covered porch and the inside was as comfortable as staying in your own home (very comfortable). The location is just 10--15 minutes into downtown Galax but being in the peaceful setting was more than anyone could ask for. Plenty of space to relax, listen the the birds and lake, and reconnect with friends and family. It is a 40 minute drive the the Va Tech campus, but was worth it for the space."
