"The staff and food at dinner were lovely. Breakfast wasn’t run at quite the same standard with a lot of mistakes and delays on orders. The room was nice, although the finer details could do with a bit more attention (dust in corners, dirty grout in bathroom). "Why do hotel designers think it is OK to have an ensuite bathroom with no door? A curtain is not an adequate replacement for a door. This was a big issue for us. Also the only seating in our room was 1 dining chair and 1 stool when there was room for something more comfortable. I don't want to have to sit on the bed, particularly at the price this hotel came in at. Everything else was very good."

"Great service with friendly staff. They seemed to be short staffed as had to wait for bar staff to come back. The bar top was very sticky hence fruit flies. We have stayed many times and enjoy it here. The menu seems cut back somewhat and was so cold, no heating or fire. Did not sleep well 😕 "
