I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel while attending a work party. The side gate was a thoughtful touch, as it meant we didn’t need to walk through the pub when coming and going. After the evening and a few drinks, the cereals and biscuits provided were very much appreciated :) Having water, juices, tea, and coffee available was also such a lovely gesture. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the double room was comfortable, giving me a great night’s sleep. Friendly staff. However there were a few problems. First of all, there were some kind of machinery (maybe a generator or a heater) within the hotel making a lot of noise even at night, making it impossible to sleep more than just a few hours.. Then there were some cleaning issues, like the bathroom fan being almost covered in dust, dirty floor, spots on the sheets etc. Chilly bathroom too.
