I really liked this hotel, it was comfortable and had a lot of character. The only thing I did not like was the pervasive cigarette smell even though my room was non smoking and very clean. However I was able to open the window which isn’t usually the case and that helped.

Family owned hotel, the owner was so nice and helpful, lovely woman. Booked a single room, room was very small on 1st floor without elevator. But the owner helped me with my luggage! Nice breakfast buffet.

Personable, attentive service. A charming small town, old school boutique hotel experience. No thrills but a great value. All essentials are well taken care of. Spaces, especially baths, are small by American standards but typical for old buildings in Europe. Quality is good. As everywhere in Holland everyone speaks English.

Lovely stay in Hilversum
The owners were very friendly and kind. About 10-12 minutes walk from Hilversum station, so it was a good location too. The room was clean and warm. Breakfast was also good.

It is worth trying somewhere else next time
We booked this hotel after a recommendation. The hotel is very simple. This is fine, but we would have expected it to be cheaper than other hotels in the neighbourhood, however it is even more expensive. Apart from it not being really cheap a disappointment was that we didn't realise the breakfast is not included, as it is in most hotels (admittedly it said: breakfast £7 in small print on the website) and we weren't told explicitedly and nobody asked us whether we wanted breakfast, so we went in and had a cup of coffee (my huband) and one tea an a slice of bread and jam (me) and had to pay 19 euro's which was quite a lot on top of the bill. At the time I didn't think of mentioning this at the reception. Quite regardless the breakfast was very minimal compared to what one gets in other hotels for the same price. So next time we will try somewhere else

It was a lovely stay all be it one evening. The sevice was quick and we were in our room within 10 minutes. The breakfast was also lovely. I will definately stay again.

Small hotel close to Nike EHQ
Very small hotel in the heart of Hilversum with very little extras.... If you re in town for a couple of days for Nike business then it should do the trick as its only 15 min walk away from Nike EHQ .

Traditional Dutch house offering different design in every single room. No standardisation though (you could have the biggest or the smallest room) Bathroom is clean but tiny Personnel is really nice and helpful. Breakfast is simple but cheap (9,50 euros) Overall good

Perfect for a short stay
-Little room, big enough for one person. It is in a beautiful residential area, which is very quiete at night. The bathroom is also very small, but with a very nice rain shower. The night I spent in this hotel was extremely hot for the Dutch typical summer, the room had no air conditioning, but a fan was provided and it helped to fight the high temperatures. The centre of the village is few minutes walking distance. The lady at the reception was friendly and helpful. I did not have breakfast there, but she offered me a cappuccino before checking out.
