"A TRUE beach hotel, in ambience, location and amenities! The only flaw ( which adds to the ambience) is no elevators, etc. Got to be able to do them stairs here! Would come again . . .says it all!"

"Don’t stay at this place!! I was shocked as Hampton Inn is usually a safe bet. Front desk gal was parked under canopy, wouldn’t move her car. Said it was too dark when she got off work to walk in the parking lot. 7 cars were sitting in the pouring rain waiting for her to move. She didn’t. Every hallway smelled like horrible stinky feet!! Elevator wasn’t working, had to hike the stairs. Dirt and gravel all over the hallway on the 2nd floor. Our room wasn’t vacuumed & out of T.P. and Kleenex. Had to go and ask for supplies. The room looked really run down, king suite. 1/2 the lights didn’t work. Breakfast food was out by 8:30 a.m., elevator still not working."

The location was perfect with easy access to the beach, which made it so convenient for our family of five to enjoy time by the water.We really liked the layout of the home and found the accommodations comfortable and well-suited for our family. The golf cart was such a fun bonus—we loved cruising the beach and changing out the fun, quirky flags along the way.The host was an excellent communicator and very helpful, even sharing great recommendations for local bars and restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a fun and relaxing getaway in Port Bolivar."
