Henrico County Vacation Packages

Staff were very welcoming and friendly, and one (a hotel valet) even rescued us when he noticed that our car got locked for the night in the public parking garage nearby. The hotel seems a little worn around the edges in general, not surprising considering maintenance challenges of an older property. Cleanliness was good, but not top notch. (The tops of baseboards in our room appeared to not have been vacuumed or wiped down in a long time.) All things considered, we would stay here again, especially if we decide to re-visit Richmond's downtown. P.S. The state capitol next door to the hotel is a must-see, and we were lucky enough to catch an outstanding tour given there by Martha.

Clean, safe, quiet and charming.

The hotel was not what I expected. It was not in a great area of Richmond with no drugstore or coffeeshops (that we found) around the hotel..everything we wanted to see was a cab ride ($20) away. The room was large but not any hooks in the bathroom except in the shower! And water went all over the floor while showering. BUT we loved Richmond and will be back. Just not at the Quirk.

bathroom would not work right and no one ever showed up to help I was told at front desk I coud have just called from room to report this but phone didnot have a cord attached to phone

This place is cozy, and pristine. There were activities to do on very hot days as well as activities to do on rainy days. The kids were always entertained. The bedding and furniture were comfortable. It gave off an “at home” vibe as opposed to a resort vide. Drinks were excellent, and not too sweet because the ingredients were quality, so there was no need to mask them with sugar. The coffee shop was excellent. The restaurants served great food. My only complaint is that the restaurants close early on weekends, and it was difficult to get food after leaving the pool. Other than that, I highly recommend this place!
