Breakfast was of exceptional quality with a wide variety of options. Enjoy my time having 蘿蔔糕 overseeing the hotel garden and swimming pool. Kudos to front desk and transportation team who always help me with questions and bookings. Appreciate John from the front desk fix my suitcase defective parts and Simione handle bookings for me , and so many more people I did not get chance to know their names. You get the best of both worlds: luxury up in the national park, and a short drive away the hustle and bustle of the night market. Unfortunately the typhoon hit as we got in, they did offer to cancel the stay on the day but we were nearly there, and they made every effort to make the trip enjoyable despite limitations from the weather. It is a 5 star view and service. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and responsive. They clearly prioritize customer service. We loved being the little bit away from the busy beach area perched up in the mountains with glorious views. It is worth ensuring you book an ocean view room! Beverages, tea, and snacks were stocked daily, and the little touches like a reusable glass water bottle with filling stations as higher quality slippers were a convenient touch. We were without a vehicle and felt no inconvenience at all. The hotel shuttle runs as often as you need it and will get you to the most frequented spots any time (park entrance, beach, night market). Breakfast was exceptional and the pool area was lovely - huge, super clean, well-maintained, quiet, and has all the little extras you need. Our only wish was that the restaurant had more light snacks or meals at a more reasonable cost. We ended up feeling a bit forced to go down to the main street for lunch and dinner, a street with limited hours and options, even though we would have preferred to have remained at the hotel at times. Overall, we loved our stay, were sorry to have to leave, and will certainly plan to return one day. Ignore any negative reviews. It was an unfortunate end of the entire trip.
