We stayed in a mountain view room and enjoyed hanging out on the balcony before going to bed to listen to the surrounding nature. The location is quiet, but near the beach and only a short drive to some tasty restaurants. The owners are very friendly and made us a yummy breakfast! Overall we were happy about the hotel, but not the location (which was our fault) Plus - Comfortable beds - Bruce prepared the breakfast for us both days and we loved it. Coffee was great as well. - Great ambience with personal touch - Very easy check-in and check-out Areas of improvement - They don't make up room every day, this was like being in a serviced apartment. This surprised us a bit. - The wash-basin was in the room and not inside the bathroom. This was little awkward. - It would work only if you are driving - No lift (although they haul your luggage upstairs) - The location is best for people who love a quiet place far from the main city and want to go surfing at nearby beach. The place is in the middle of a small village far from the markets and the buzz of the tourist place. Nearest restaurant is 15 kms drive. The room was modern, comfortable and the whole place is tastefully decorated. The beach is very close, less than 5 minutes walk, you can actually see the ocean from the hotel. Owners are superfriendly, very helpful and welcoming. A simple, but delicious homemade breakfast is served.
