« Hôtel historique (19ème siècle) au centre de la petite et typique ville de Jim Thorpe. Chambre (Deluxe King) vaste, propre plutôt bien équipée avec SdB séparée avec baignoire. La chambre donnait sur la rue donc assez bruyante... même la nuit (passage des éboueurs, traffic tôt le matin). Accueil un peu réservé mais les cookies offerts à l'arrivée sont sympas! Le pub attenant est très sympa et nous avons bénéficié par l'hôtel d'un bon pour un PdJ américain à 7$. »

« The Cottage was the perfect space for an overnight stay. It was private, clean & comfortable. The owner communicated with necessary details & answered questions promptly. While no parking on-site, the public parking at train station is a short 2 block walk. Overnight rate is $8 - it ends at 6AM, so you much visit kiosk to pay again to extend time. (We arrived at kiosk at 8:30 & there was no “ticket” given for being past 6AM). »

« Stayed one night on September 27th, 2025. Was able to check in early and had bags personally delivered to our room. Once we finally got a hold of the owner Geraldine, she was very friendly and helpful. The room was very cozy and secluded and amenities were very good. Would not recommend for elderly or very obese people as the steps up to the bathroom were tight and steep but once you get there the bathroom was very clean and well maintained.
