Centre commercial Laurel Mall

We were very excited to be back after two years. We have been going yearly, since 2015. Sadly, most of the on site restaurants and the bar were closed. The hotel is very dated, despite the claim of renovations. The lake beach was full of animal poop and looked like it hasn’t been maintained for years. Some chairs around. The restaurants and bar were closed as well. No activities at the lake. On site activities greatly limited from our past experiences. Claims to have WIFI in rooms, Typically didn’t work. With the bad WIFI, this meant the room TV’s hardly worked. Couldn’t mirror because of the poor WIFI. Called and someone came right away when we checked in. Got it working, then out again. The next day when I asked the front desk, I was told, “Yeah the WiFi sucks here. Maintenance can’t help. Try turning the TV off and on.” Very few ice machines. The bright spot was the updated arcade. Workers in the arcade/bowling were awesome. Bowling alley was good. Pool tables were a disgrace and unplayable. Ping Pong was ok. Mini-golf was almost playable. A few holes you really couldn’t. You could play basketball in the gym. The water park was a disgrace. We went and 5 areas closed off. Couldn’t use the kids Jungle Falls, the adults Lava Springs, family slide Anaconda, Komodo and The Hurricane Cove was closed because they were training new life guards. The outdoor pool was working. Lots of tiles from the side of the pool on the bottom, plenty of pine cones as well. Good Luck!

Pictures are nicer than the actual hotel. Not worth the money spent
