Located in the Lake Wallenpaupack region, with a close proximity to all area amenities, book a getaway to remember. Located down a long private driveway is the home with plentiful free parking. There is a fenced yard, so feel free to bring your dog! There is a hot tub outside as well. Everything in the home is new, and you are a short distance to skiing, the lake, river, and more. We look forward to having you. Tree Haven was built in 2021\. Everything is new and clean and inviting. The kitchen is large and has plenty of room for cooking. There are stocked small appliances, such as a hand mixer, waffle maker, toaster, and a blender. There are three coffee makers: a drip pot, a single cup for pods, and a French press. There is also a tea kettle. We have some various coffees and teas stocked, or bring your favorite. The main level has approximately 1800 sq ft, the basement is finished and has approximately 1400 SQ ft. The yard is fenced, please note, there are some gaps in the fencing where the gates are, so very small dogs should still be supervised at all times. Please remember this is forest country, and there are a variety of wild life abound, especially deer, but you may also see large birds of prey, rabbit, fox, skunk, possum, or even a black bear. Please do not feed the wildlife and maintain your distance. The hot tub is new and can hold 6 people at a time. We also have a large fire pit set up for relaxing with friends and family or making s'mores. Our location is privately set, surrounded by trees, yet also centrally located and close to the towns of Hawley and Honesdale. Every bedroom has a TV with a Roku streaming device. You can easily log in to any of your favorite apps, or watch something from one of the plentiful Roku channels. If you visit us in the summer, we are just 12 minutes from Lake Wallenpaupack, the 3rd largest motorboating lake in Pennsylvania. We are also just minutes away from the Lackawaxen River and Delaware River where you can go rafting or kayaking. There are also multiple golf courses nearby, including Woodloch Springs, which is just five minutes away. If you visit us in the winter, we have an indoor wood stove and we have plenty of wood stocked. There is also skiing just 15 minutes away at Ski Big Bear. The lower level is fully finished and has board games, as well as a basketball game. One of the couches is a pull out mattress if you need some extra sleeping spots. The whole house is available for use. There are a couple of owner's closets that are locked that are utility areas. There is a fenced yard, with a large deck, fire pit, and hot tub. The garage is locked and is for owner use only. The home is located on over two acres, and set back off the road. The owners live nextdoor on the neighboring 7.8 acre property, so there is a nice privacy buffer, but we are nearby in case you need anything. If you plan to visit as a couple, we can accommodate for special rates if you only want first floor access. The basement can be locked off. The main level contains 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The finished basement has another bedroom and bathroom, and game area. As a couple you would still have access to the yard with fire pit and hot tub. We live right next door in the neighboring 7.8 acre property, but we are set back enough to still allow for privacy. We didn't see anyone while we were there. There was something for every to enjoy. We have stayed at several places including ones that want you to vacuum before you leave! I was surprised that there was not more involved with closing up the house than loading up the towels and dishwasher. Would definitely recommend! Accessible for a relative on a walker too! The dogs loved the fenced in yard, and we really liked the hot tub and axe throwing out there too. The large tvs in all the rooms were great and easy to use. We had a little rain so the basketball and video games in the huge finished basement was great!
