"Clift Hill is a fabulous place to stay. We were a group of 20 friends and family and we loved the house. It's extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. It has impressive rooms and views but it also feels very homely. The kids (aged between 4 and 11) had a brilliant time exploring the house and gardens, playing with the games and outdoor play equipment and taking over the hot tub."

"Our family of four stayed for five days and saw historic sites all around the borders. We enjoyed the space and the ever changing view from the big windows. The photos can’t really show how spacious and bright it is at Five Turrets! Beautiful!"

"This private and bijou rental is an absolute gem! In lovely rural setting, it is very cosy and enormous care has clearly been taken to think through every need a guest might have. Wherever you look there are thoughtful beautiful artistic touches. The host is friendly, informative and very responsive to any questions. The cottage is well situated to visit Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island (Lindisfarne). Within easy reach are shops and restaurants. The 'Taj Tandoori' provided the best Indian meal...
