Northern Escape - Hot Tub, Sauna, Cold Plunge

"Our stay here was wonderful! The hot tub, sauna and cold plunge set up was perfect. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a romantic, relaxing getaway. It was the perfect spot to spend our honeymoon!Not only the property clean and as described, Kate was a wonderful host. We had some car trouble during our stay and she was incredibly helpful and kind. 10/10 would come back and stay again!"

"We loved this one-open-room cabin in the woods! It was the perfect spot for us to do bike rides around the trails of Michigan. We sat on the dock every morning with our coffee--so peaceful. And in the evenings we sat there again. Bruce was a great host. He always replied quickly to our texts and was very accommodating. The cabin was great for just the 2 of us. My friend took the bed on one side of the room and I took a bed on the other--so even in an open floor plan, we had our own space. Lots of room to work in the kitchen. We initially thought the apartment-size refrigerator might not work for us--but it was plenty for our few days there. We were just 25 mins from Traverse City and not far from so many scenic and beautiful spots. We hope to make it back!"

"Perfect size for my husband and I. We fished quite a bit and caught lots of small mouth bass. We’re 70 and the stairs to the lake were very doable. Lots of fun places and things to day trip to within an easy drive."

"The host was great and took care of two minor issues right away! The house was clean and felt homey. The location was perfect between my family’s home and other places we wanted to go in close proximity. We did do laundry at my parent’s since there was a 5 fee per load and I believe for the amount guest's pay to stay that should be included without a fee. I know the host stated her reasoning why in another review, but still it was a hassle. Other than that the area was quiet and pleasant. Ac units are in the bedrooms and we set them for when we were out and it kept the living room around 80 but it wasn’t bad since the ceiling fan was going. Rooms got ice cold but we were able to adjust the units and we slept comfortably. All in all this was a good place to stay."

"This was such a beautiful cottage. The setting was gorgeous. The lake and gardens were so lovely. The cottage was clean and the area was quiet. We had such a nice time exploring all of the surrounding lakeside towns- very nice central location to many different areas which made for great day trips."

"Very tidy place. Quiet street. Close to Lake Ann which has some food options including a pizza place, a coffee shop, an ice cream stand, and a bar/restaurant. Instructions for the tv/streaming were in the notebook along with other helpful information but those instructions on the tv were a bit confusing as they referred to things differently than they were labeled."
